And thus far, that command wheel is the only problem I've had with it. Even if that's true, and I'm not saying that it isn't, it is not unreasonable to expect this controller to perform as advertised. And if you have any comments about me using a Steam controller, any "keyboard and mouse superiority" crap, save it. All you can do is spray and pray that you kill them before they kill you, and that they don't waste enough of your psygates to screw you out of completing the mission. Seriously, what am I not doing in this game that everyone else is doing that can actually make this game playable? You can't outrun them, you can't control the direction they come at you, and even if you could, none of your weapons slow them down while they're still alive. And on top of that, at least if you're using a Steam controller, the command wheel for your allies is temperamental and unresponsive. The rate at which you are constantly swarmed by Tyranids gives you precisely zero time to explore and find artifacts if you expect to survive. I unloaded all of my strongest psychic attacks and a full clip of the Spear of Caliban in one of those things faces, and it was still alive. When the geneseed-enhanced scythe strains show up, even on Easy, they cut through you and your allies like a hot knife through butter, and nothing stops them. I see no purpose in being able to block doors, because virtually every room is dappled with Tyranid entry points coming up from the floor or down from the ceiling. The difficulty of this game, from chapter 7 on at least, is ridiculous. I could seriously use some help here, because I seem to be struggling with this game in a way not many apparently do.
